SUMMARY:Open Farm Days at Fort Kent - CANCELLED
DESCRIPTION:  \nLARA will not be participating in Alberta Open Farm Days 2026 \nThe exceptionally wet spring and continued rainfall throughout the season have significantly delayed field work and the establishment of many of our research\, demonstration and horticulture projects. As a result\, the Research Farm will not be in a position to deliver the educational experience we had planned for visitors. \nWhile this was not an easy decision\, our priority is ensuring that when guests visit the Research Farm\, they have the opportunity to see thriving demonstrations\, learn from active research projects\, and experience the site at its best. \nAlthough we won’t be opening our gates for Alberta Open Farm Days in 2026\, we’re already looking ahead. The additional time will allow us to continue developing our research sites\, demonstration areas\, and visitor experiences so we can return as a stronger participant in 2027. \nWe sincerely thank our partners\, volunteers\, exhibitors\, and everyone who had planned to attend for their understanding and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to the LARA Research Farm next year.
