Ranching with Wildlife with Louise Liebenberg

Louise was born and raised in South Africa, her love and interest in all animals and nature, was nurtured there. After working around Europe, Louise moved to Canada in 2008 where she bought a ranch that borders crown land and National Forest. On this ranch, she concentrates on establishing a good commercial and purebred sheep and cattle ranch, raising and training border collies and Sarplaninac livestock guardian dogs. The ranch became the first ranch in Canada to be certified Wildlife Friendly. She manages the sheep and cattle in such a manner that they can co-exist with the native wildlife.
