Geco Engineering is using satellite data and AI to provide farms with:

1. weed predication enabling target application of treatments with standard equipment and including soil applied herbicides;
2. early detection of emerging herbicide resistance.

This approach uses herbicides in a targeted way to avoid blanket applications while beating down the weedy hotspots and thus aligns both economic and environmental benefits for farms. Geco’s technology is being used Canada-wide across 4 provinces.

This talk will discuss this exciting new approach to assist with strategic weed management that is being implemented on standard equipment on commercials farms across Canada.
