Connect For Food

Love local food, and want to be part of building a sustainable, secure local food economy? Check out the new initiative called Connect for Food, which is currently delivering several workshops in NE Alberta. With the theme ‘grow what we eat, eat what we grow’, the goal of these workshop is to build a more localized and resilient food system and to increase economic activity in our communities.
We believe that we are all stakeholders and that being better connected and sharing ideas and solutions is the way to change the way we think about our food system. A priority for these workshops is that they are inclusive and are designed to ensure an environment that supports learning and diverse perspectives from participants. If you are part of the wheel, then these workshops are for you!
