Young Farmer Social

Lakeland Agricultural Research Association invites Young Farmers for a night of great food, networking and a special presentation from Lesley Kelly. 

 Lesley, the head and heart behind “High Heels and Canola Fields” will share how she found her voice online, at the farm and industry table and how others can find their seat at the table too. Or, how you can make your own table. She will tie all the lessons together with something that we all need and want and that will help each other through hard and good times: Connection. In this presentation, she will share examples of building a snack food company, a communications company, High Heels and Canola Fields, co-founding the Do More Agriculture Foundation, creating her role on the farm both before and after her father’s passing. Along with leadership lessons and inspiration that you can walk away with and apply within your own families, communities and businesses to help creative positive change.
