Canola Yield Project
An evaluation of the interaction between seed size and seeding depth on canola establishment and yield
This project aims to provide producers with the ability to improve on-farm production through an understanding of the interaction between seed size and planting depth on canola establishment and yield. This could prove highly beneficial in the case of extreme weather conditions where increasing planting depth could allow available soil moisture to be reached in dry years.
This project began in Spring 2020. Stay tuned as more details become available in early 2021!
