Stockmanship Clinic

Join us on August 16, 2024 at the St. Paul Ag Corral for a one-day Stockmanship Clinic with Cattle Up Stockmanship!

Whether you’re a seasoned rancher or new to the field, Cattlen Up Stockmanship’s hands-on workshops will equip you with the techniques and confidence needed to handle your cattle more efficiently and humanely. If you’re looking to improve your skills in a low-stress environment, you won’t want to miss these opportunities.

  • Learn effective ways to communicate with livestock in a way that they understand, greatly decreasing stress on both livestock and people.
  • Gain insight into the behavioral concepts behind the techniques, empowering you to build a stronger connection with your animals.
  • Discover how good stockmanship can significantly impact your bottom line, including improvements in morbidity/mortality rates, reproduction success, feed conversion efficiency, and grass utilization.

 

Registration information:

$10.00 for LARA members (all farmers and ranchers in the MD of Bonnyville, County of St. Paul and Smoky Lake County)

$20.00 for non-members

More about Dawn Hnatow:

Dawn Hnatow, owner and founder of Cattle Up Stockmanship, was born into a ranching family in Canada. She has worked with livestock her entire life and spent numerous years under the mentorship of Bud Williams. Their many years together forever changed the trajectory of her life and she now spends her time passing on the wealth of knowledge she gained during those countless experiences.
